By opening a Bank Cards account or using our app, you agree to these terms. They form a contract between you and Bank Cards Inc. Cards are issued by our partner bank under license from Visa.
If something here is unclear, ask before you sign up. We'd rather explain than have you confused.
You must be at least 18, a resident of a country we serve, and able to pass identity verification under standard banking rules (KYC and AML). We may decline an application without explaining why, and we may close an account that doesn't pass ongoing checks.
Keep your login safe. Don't share your card details with people you don't trust. If your card or phone is lost or stolen, freeze it from the app immediately and tell us — we'll cover unauthorized charges that you report promptly.
You're responsible for transactions you authorize. That includes recurring charges, family members you hand the card to, and anyone you let into your phone.
Bank Cards is free for everyday use: no monthly fee, no minimum balance, no card replacement fee for normal wear. We charge fair fees for things that have a real cost — international ATM withdrawals, expedited shipping, currency conversion above the fee-free threshold.
The full schedule lives inside the app and updates with at least 30 days' notice.
Don't use Bank Cards for anything illegal. Don't use it for gambling where prohibited. Don't use it to harass, defraud, or launder. Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. Standard stuff.
You can close your account anytime from the app — no phone tree, no retention call. We'll mail you any remaining balance.
We may close accounts for violations of these terms or applicable law. We'll tell you why, return your funds, and give you reasonable time to set up alternatives, unless we're legally barred from doing so.
We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't promise it's perfect. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for any incident is capped at the fees you paid us in the last 12 months. This doesn't limit your statutory consumer rights or our obligations under banking regulation.
If something goes wrong, talk to us first — most issues get fixed in a single email. If we can't agree, disputes go through binding arbitration in your home jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise. You always keep the right to a small claims court.
When we update these terms, we'll email you and post the new version here at least 30 days before they take effect, except for changes required by law or to fix obvious errors.
